Jake

About Jake

Jake has been tattooing since 2006 and has built a reputation for bold modern traditional tattoos and black and grey work finished with crisp stipple shading. His work focuses on strong composition, solid linework, and designs that hold their structure over time.

He enjoys the full range of tattooing, from quick, well-executed two-hour tattoos to larger projects that require more planning and time in the chair. Regardless of size, the goal is always the same: a tattoo that reads clearly, heals well, and still looks good years down the road.

“Work hard, stay humble.”

Jake’s Style

Experience: Tattooing professionally since 2006.

Primary styles: Modern traditional, black and grey, and stipple shading.

Preferred projects: Jake enjoys larger compositions such as back pieces, but he also values smaller tattoos that can be completed cleanly in a single session.

Consultation approach: Jake prefers starting with a consultation so size, placement, and overall direction are clearly established before the drawing process begins.

Design process: Clients typically bring an idea and a few reference images. From there, Jake develops the final design in his own style to ensure the tattoo works well both visually and structurally.

Projects he does not take: Watercolor tattoos, portraits of loved ones, and Celtic designs.
